Welcome to REEHA — a global, online-based platform offering professional mental health counselling and wellness services. By accessing, browsing, booking, or using any part of our platform or services, you accept and agree to be legally bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, we advise you to discontinue use of our services and website immediately.

Nature of Services

REEHA provides online mental health counselling services delivered by certified professionals trained in psychology, counselling, and related disciplines. Our services include individual counselling, relationship and couple therapy, group sessions, emotional well-being consultations, and mental health awareness programs.

It is important to understand that the services offered by REEHA are supportive and therapeutic, but they are not intended to replace clinical psychiatric treatment or medical intervention. We do not provide any form of medical diagnosis, prescription, or emergency psychiatric response.

If you are in a situation of immediate danger, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or undergoing a mental health crisis, we strongly advise you to contact your local emergency number or visit the nearest medical facility immediately. REEHA is not equipped to handle emergency or life-threatening situations.

Access and Eligibility

Our services are offered exclusively through virtual platforms to ensure global accessibility. Users must be 18 years or older to independently access therapy. Individuals below 18 years of age may only access services with documented parental or guardian consent.

By using our platform, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and that the information you provide during registration and sessions is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Booking and Payment Policy

All appointments are scheduled via our website or official communication channels. Session slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are considered confirmed only upon full payment through our secure payment system.

Individuals are expected to join sessions on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be considered missed and will not be rescheduled or refunded. We request individuals to ensure a quiet, private environment with stable internet for all sessions.

Cancellations and Refunds:

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund, processed within 7 working days.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the session or no-shows are non-refundable.
  • REEHA reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unavoidable circumstances or therapist unavailability, with due communication.

Informed Consent

By engaging with REEHA, you voluntarily agree to receive therapeutic services via online platforms and consent to the storage of your session-related data for professional use. You acknowledge that:

  • Outcomes of therapy vary based on individual participation, history, and external circumstances.
  • REEHA makes no guarantees regarding recovery timelines or results.
  • You may discontinue therapy at any time, understanding that fees already paid are non-refundable beyond the terms outlined above.

Confidentiality and Exceptions

REEHA adheres strictly to ethical confidentiality protocols, compliant with the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017 (India) and international counselling ethics. All individual information, session notes, and communications are treated as confidential and stored securely.

However, confidentiality may be lawfully breached under the following circumstances:

  • When an individual poses a clear and immediate risk of serious harm to themselves or others
  • When disclosure is legally mandated by court order or statutory obligation
  • When reporting is required under laws related to abuse, exploitation, or child protection

In such cases, only minimal and essential information will be shared with appropriate authorities or emergency contacts to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

Data Protection and Privacy

REEHA is committed to safeguarding your privacy. Your personal data — including name, contact details, session records, and feedback — is collected only for therapeutic and administrative purposes. We do not sell, trade, or share your information with third parties unless legally compelled.

We follow industry-standard data security practices to prevent unauthorised access or misuse of personal data. You have the right to:

  • Access the data stored about you
  • Request corrections to inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal data (unless required by law to retain)

All communications (emails, texts, WhatsApp) related to your therapy journey may be stored as part of your case history unless otherwise requested.

Platform Use and Intellectual Property

The REEHA website, logo, design assets, session materials, blog content, and associated resources are the intellectual property of REEHA. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use of any material is strictly prohibited.

Users agree not to engage in any activities that:

  • Disrupt or compromise platform functionality
  • Involve harassment or misuse of therapist/individual interactions
  • Spread misinformation or impersonate REEHA team members
  • Attempt to access restricted areas or secured data unlawfully

REEHA reserves the right to restrict or terminate service to any user found in breach of these terms.

Limitation of Liability

While we take every reasonable step to ensure a high standard of service delivery, REEHA is not liable for:

  • Emotional outcomes, mental health fluctuations, or personal decisions made post-session
  • Delays or disruptions due to internet failure, third-party app errors (Zoom, WhatsApp, payment gateways)
  • Miscommunication caused by incomplete or false information provided by individuals
  • Any indirect or consequential damages arising from service use

Individuals are encouraged to follow therapeutic guidance sincerely and responsibly, understanding that REEHA provides supportive counselling and not clinical psychiatric care.

Changes and Modifications

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in law, ethical standards, or internal practices. Updated terms will be published on our website with the revised date. Continued use of the platform or services following any updates will be considered acceptance of those changes.

Jurisdiction

All legal matters related to REEHA will be governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, unless otherwise required by applicable international laws in the individual’s region.
